Swing Shift closes its 2011-2012 season by presenting two legends of jazz. Saxophonist Dick Oatts is the lead alto in the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and has been a major force on the New York jazz scene for over 30 years. Trumpeter Bobby Shew first came to prominence with the Buddy Rich Big Band, and he has gone on to become one of the most respected players and teachers in the world.
Tickets for the concert are $15 general admission, $10 for students and seniors, and are available in advance from Pacific Winds Music and at the door
